Job Description

UPS, the world’s largest package delivery company and a leading provider of supply chain management solutions, is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Yard Crew employees. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of UPS trailers and work areas, ensuring operational efficiency.

Position Details

• Job Title: Yard Crew
• Location: 12424 Dixie Road, Caledon, Ontario, Canada
• Employment Type: Part-Time, Permanent
• Workdays: Sunday to Thursday
• Shift Start: 1:00 PM (Sunday) and 12:00 PM (Monday to Thursday)
• Shift Duration: 3-5 hours per day (flexible based on volume)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness inside UPS trailers and surrounding work areas.
• Stack skids efficiently and safely.
• Follow company-established safety and package handling methods.
• Inspect yard equipment and verify its contents.
• Adapt to various operational needs, including working extended hours as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32 kg) without assistance.
• Full availability from Monday to Friday.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
• No prior warehouse experience required; training provided.
• Capable of operating machinery related to the role.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay Rate: $17.80/hr (includes a $0.50 hourly bonus).
• Unionized position with automatic progression (up to $25.41/hr in 48 months).
