Job Description

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of Walmart’s supply chain and logistics processes. You’ll be responsible for supervising associates, ensuring compliance, meeting deadlines, and fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise Associates:

  • Assign tasks and coordinate workloads.
  • Monitor performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Identify training needs and participate in hiring, coaching, and evaluating employees.

• Foster Engagement:

  • Build strong relationships with associates.
  • Promote cross-training and encourage teamwork across departments.

• Monitor Work and Deadlines:

  • Develop and oversee work plans.
  • Resolve delays and audit progress to ensure timely task completion.

• Resolve Challenges:

  • Address and resolve associates’ concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with area managers and partners.

• Ensure Compliance:

  • Promote adherence to company policies and ethical standards.
  • Use Walmart’s Open Door Policy to address and resolve compliance issues.

• Lead Teams:

  • Align with business goals and provide resources and feedback to meet high-quality standards.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• 6 months as a Walmart Supply Chain associate OR
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution center environment OR
• 2 years of college in a business-related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role in a manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution center environment.
