Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Management: Act as the business owner for your vendors and brands, understanding internal and external factors that impact them.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with teams across category management, pricing, inventory management, operations, marketing, and finance to drive vendor performance.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analyses to meet and exceed revenue and profitability goals.
- Performance Metrics: Analyze weekly and monthly vendor performance metrics and manage communications to achieve financial targets.
- Strategic Planning: Provide input on promotional activities, space allocation, pricing, productivity analysis, and forecasting for your vendors and brands.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1+ years of experience in account management, project or program management, or buying.
- Proficiency with analytical tools such as Google Analytics, SQL, or HTML.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in process improvement.
- Experience managing large datasets.
Benefits and Compensation
Amazon offers competitive compensation reflecting the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $48,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $103,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. As a total compensation company, Amazon provides equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, financial, and other benefits.
