Meta is looking for experienced full-stack Software Engineers to join our product teams. Software Engineer, Product Responsibilities:

• Develop full-stack web and mobile applications using various coding languages.
• Build consumer products and features using Meta’s internal programming language, Hack.
• Implement web or mobile interfaces using XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with PM and design teams to define feature specifications and develop products using frameworks like React & React Native.
• Work with operations and infrastructure teams to scale and manage back-end services.
• Build report interfaces and data feeds.
• Own specific components, features, or systems with expert end-to-end understanding.
• Successfully deliver large-scope projects while maintaining high productivity.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 6+ years of programming experience in a relevant language.
• 6+ years of experience in building large-scale applications or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Hack.
• Proven experience as the owner of a component, feature, or system.
• Experience in completing large-scope projects.
• Demonstrated ability to build and ship high-quality, reliable work.
• Strong track record of driving technical direction, fostering consensus, and building successful cross-functional partnerships.
• Expertise in improving quality through code reviews, testing, proper rollout, monitoring, and proactive adjustments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with architectural patterns of large-scale software applications.
• Proficiency in languages such as C, C++, Java, Swift, or Kotlin.

Compensation:

• $70.67/hour to $208,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.
• Compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The figures listed reflect the base rate only and do not include bonus, equity, or incentives. Meta also offers additional benefits. Learn more about Meta’s benefits.
