Key Responsibilities
- Supply Chain Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders in category management, supply chain, operations, and product management to improve supply chain processes.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with CPG manufacturers to optimize shared supply chains, reduce defects, and enhance customer experience.
- Process Improvement: Identify automation opportunities, streamline non-automated processes, and develop scalable solutions.
- Technical Integration: Influence technical teams to adopt standards and create tools for managing inventory health, forecasting, purchase order quality, and supply chain operations.
- Strategic Planning: Develop plans that drive revenue and margin improvements with vendors.
- Technology Implementation: Build and execute tech roadmaps with vendors to enhance forecasting, purchasing, reporting, and operational processes.
- Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain knowledge management tools to support business operations.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of professional or military experience.
- 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related Supply Chain/Operations discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in business intelligence, including complex SQL queries, statistical analysis, data validation, and deriving actionable insights.
- Advanced skills in Excel.
- Proven ability to own and deliver results.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written communication abilities.
Benefits and Compensation
Amazon offers competitive compensation reflecting the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. As a total compensation company, Amazon provides equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, financial, and other benefits.
