Job Description

As a Global Immigration Specialist, you will take charge of international immigration processes, serving as the primary contact for managers, new hires, employees, and the HR team on immigration matters outside the United States. Your expertise will help ensure smooth transitions, effective coordination, and a seamless immigration experience for all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Vendor Partnerships: Maintain and strengthen relationships with global vendors.
  • Guidance on Policies: Advise employees and managers on immigration policies, ensuring worldwide consistency.
  • Liaison Role: Act as a bridge between candidates, transfers, and external counsel, facilitating smooth immigration processes.
  • Eligibility Assessments: Evaluate new candidates and transfers for sponsorship eligibility.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Process Analysis: Analyze complex immigration issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively seek process enhancements to improve the employee experience.
  • Mailbox Management: Monitor and respond to inquiries via the global immigration mailbox.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Escalate and resolve issues, keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with team members on projects to streamline processes.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: At least 8 years of corporate business immigration experience in EMEA, APAC, and Canada.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and effective time management.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to tackle complex issues under tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility: Adaptability to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Integrity and Confidentiality: Maintain the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality.
