Job Description

This is a temporary seasonal role, projected to end in January 2025. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring packages are delivered efficiently and safely. Your day will involve lifting, carrying, and transporting packages in a fast-paced environment while practicing UPS safe driving methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up UPS packages efficiently.
• Master UPS safe and defensive driving techniques.
• Assist with truck loading and unloading when needed.
• Record and maintain package delivery data.
• Comply with UPS uniform and appearance standards.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. unassisted; typical package weight is 25-35 lbs.
• Strong navigation skills using GPS and maps.
• Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday (with some Mondays).
• Valid Ontario G driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Strong customer service skills and a commitment to safety.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $21 (Base rate $17.30 + $3.70 bonus).
• Potential to earn up to $35.78/hour after seniority and 48 months of service.
