Job Description

As a Walmart Pharmacist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive pharmaceutical care to customers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders.
• Counseling customers on health care and medication needs.
• Maintaining confidential and controlled medication documentation.
• Administering immunizations and other Walmart health programs in compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Monitoring and ensuring the implementation of safety, quality assurance, and compliance standards.
• Leading and mentoring associates to uphold excellent customer service.

Requirements

We’re looking for candidates who meet the following minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
• Active pharmacy license (required by job entry date).
• Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program (e.g., APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, or State Pharmacy Association-sponsored).

Preferred qualifications include prior pharmacy experience, but new graduates are welcome to apply!
