As a Software Development Engineer on the Alexa Calling team, you’ll work on cutting-edge cloud and mobile technologies to enhance the Alexa experience for millions of users. You’ll play a vital role in developing solutions that make communication via Alexa devices seamless, magical, and engaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions for Alexa Calling using Android, iOS, and ReactNative.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to design, implement, and improve customer-facing features.
• Work on cloud services to enhance the reliability and scalability of Alexa’s communication systems.
• Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
• Ensure high-quality code through testing, code reviews, and adherence to coding standards.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in design or architecture, including scalability and reliability.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the full software development lifecycle (coding standards, source control, testing, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
