This infrastructure supports NVIDIA’s software development workflows, including CI/CD pipelines and developer productivity tools, across our entire software stack—from Graphics Drivers to Autonomous Vehicles and Deep Learning frameworks.

As a Senior Software Engineer in Observability and AIOps, you will leverage your expertise to design, build, and deploy an advanced AIOps platform, shaping the future of network operations.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of an AIOps platform.
  • Apply AI techniques such as machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing to optimize network operations (e.g., anomaly detection, root cause analysis, and incident management).
  • Implement observability principles, including monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting.
  • Define and measure AIOps metrics like accuracy, reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Develop tools for data collection, cleaning, analysis, modeling, and visualization.
  • Build automation systems to streamline monitoring and triaging processes.
  • Create services that automate responses to performance issues and incidents.
  • Integrate various service APIs to automate environment creation and data source population.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • 10+ years of network architecture and automation experience.
  • PhD or equivalent experience in architecting and automating large-scale enterprise networks.
  • Hands-on experience with Arista, Fortinet, Juniper, and Mellanox.
  • Proven ability to implement network services in distributed computing environments.
  • Expertise in high-performance networks and network optimization in large-scale, multi-site environments.
  • Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (Python, Bash, SQL, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a customer-first mindset.

Benefits

At NVIDIA, we value our employees and offer:

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $164,000 to $310,500 (based on location and experience).
  • Equity opportunities and comprehensive benefits.
  • The chance to work alongside some of the most innovative minds in Artificial Intelligence, High-Performance Computing, and Visualization.
  • A collaborative and creative work environment, fostering professional growth and innovation.
