Job Description
As a Program Manager for Environmental Health and Safety, you will oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple projects within the EHS program. Your role will require close collaboration with project managers, stakeholders, and the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key part in shaping the future of Google’s data center operations, contributing to their safe and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on maintaining PMO standards and project governance.
- Develop and manage EHS projects with support from executive team members.
- Track and report on project progress, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide training and support to project managers to ensure projects meet quality and compliance standards.
- Create and manage business reporting decks for assigned templates and deliverables.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of program management experience.
- Experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety.
- Proficiency in stakeholder management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
- Certification in Certified Safety Professionals (CSP) or equivalent.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
