Job Description

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for optimizing the execution of work orders, enhancing technician effectiveness through proper planning and scheduling. From identifying materials and tools to sequencing tasks, this role ensures that all maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate work orders and plan instructions, spare parts, tools, and time required for execution.
• Manage modifications in the CMMS and oversee preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with internal staff and external vendors.
• Organize materials needed for specific jobs.
• Develop and monitor schedules according to maintenance requirements.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to plan scheduled shutdowns.
• Manage work order backlogs and communicate updates to supervisors and technicians.

Candidate Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing environments.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines, vendors, and technical staff.
• Technical proficiency in CMMS systems, facility software, and reading mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Mechanical experience with industrial equipment, along with proven organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong safety compliance record, including conducting safety inspections.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected salary range: $68,000 – $150,000 annually + cash and stock bonuses.
