Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scaling law analyses on critical parameters such as model size, data size, and training compute to optimize AI models.
• Develop and implement advanced architectures and algorithms to scale large End-to-End (E2E) self-driving models.
• Create and maintain infrastructure for efficient large-scale distributed training, addressing compute and memory bottlenecks.
• Evaluate and improve model performance, focusing on extending miles driven without human intervention.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy AI models meeting high-performance and reliability standards.
• Contribute to the development of tools and frameworks that enhance model training and deployment scalability.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in scaling and optimizing large AI models, with a strong grasp of infrastructure challenges and solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and deep knowledge of software engineering best practices.
• Solid understanding of deep learning fundamentals, including optimization techniques and neural network architectures.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Expertise in distributed computing and parallel processing techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex system-level issues.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills in cross-functional environments.
