Job Description
As an Account Strategist, you will build and manage client relationships, understand business challenges, and create tailored advertising solutions. You will utilize your expertise in online media and communication to develop forward-thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations. By working closely with clients, you’ll help them achieve their marketing objectives and drive business growth through Google’s range of advertising products.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage client relationships through virtual and/or face-to-face interactions, meeting multiple clients daily to understand their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workflows and projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
- Achieve growth goals, including quarterly business growth and productivity targets, by presenting Google’s advertising solutions tailored to client needs.
- Develop forward-thinking, data-driven analyses and actionable recommendations aligned with client goals, presenting clear opportunities for impact.
- Deepen your knowledge of Google advertising products and demonstrate how they can help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in advertising, sales, marketing, consulting, or media.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience assessing and achieving client success through effective questioning, objection handling, and competitive selling.
- Proven expertise in launching and managing paid digital advertising campaigns, especially in Google Ads or other digital marketing platforms.
- Experience working with channel sales, advertisers, agencies, or clients.
- Ability to prioritize and manage a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, meeting growth goals.
- Strong storytelling skills and the ability to create compelling narratives for client engagement.
