Job Description
FedEx is seeking a motivated and dedicated Courier/Swing Driver (DOT) to join our team in Kansas City, MO. This full-time position offers the opportunity to operate company vehicles, deliver and pick up packages with professionalism, and ensure FedEx service standards are met. You’ll also cover various routes within the station’s service area and deliver exceptional customer service along the way.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service features.
• Cover assigned routes within the service area as needed.
• Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries and pickups.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Six (6) months of courier experience preferred.
• Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Capable of maneuvering heavier packages with equipment or assistance.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the Kansas City service area is a plus.
  • Reliable, adaptable, and committed to excellence in courier methods.
• Additional Conditions:
  • Neat and professional appearance is essential.
  • Must pass a medical exam and meet federal motor carrier safety regulations.
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
