Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision: Develop and communicate a strategic vision aligned with company objectives, market trends, and local business needs. Guide your team to execute operational and merchandising plans effectively.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and develop management and hourly associates in a dynamic environment. Address recruitment challenges, high turnover, and engagement issues by mentoring, succession planning, and performance evaluations.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to company policies and legal regulations. Oversee safety protocols, asset protection, and quality assurance standards.
- Community Engagement: Represent Walmart in the local community by spearheading outreach programs, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and supporting sustainability efforts.
- Financial Management: Drive facility performance by setting sales and profit goals, controlling expenses, and analyzing economic trends. Create and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Customer Service Excellence: Cultivate a customer-focused culture by resolving complaints, ensuring merchandise is well-presented, and maintaining competitive pricing.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of general management experience (including financial accountability) and 4 years of supervisory experience with at least 50 nonexempt and 5 exempt associates, OR
- 4 years of general management experience with the same supervisory requirements.
- For facilities selling firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
- Associates must complete all job-required trainings and assessments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership (Live Better U program).
- Experience as a Store Manager in high-volume retail or grocery environments.

Salary
Annual salary ranges from $110,000 to $170,000, with additional compensation opportunities such as performance bonuses and regional pay adjustments.
