As a Senior UX Manager for Core UX, you will oversee the design and research efforts that define the Prime customer experience (CX). You’ll lead a talented team of UX researchers, designers, technologists, and writers, driving innovation to elevate Prime’s value proposition and create seamless, engaging experiences for members globally.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead a High-Performing Team: Build and mentor a multidisciplinary UX team, fostering their professional growth and enabling them to deliver impactful work.
2. Drive UX Research Strategy: Define and execute a comprehensive global research strategy in collaboration with product, marketing, and technology teams.
3. Oversee High-Impact Research Initiatives: Lead complex research projects to inform the development of new Prime features and products.
4. Develop Design Systems: Collaborate with design leads to create and implement scalable design systems that elevate the overall Prime experience.
5. Analyze Customer Behavior: Leverage data and insights to understand member needs, preferences, and pain points, ensuring that Prime continues to deliver value.
6. Innovate Research Methods: Adapt and develop UX research methodologies to align with unique product and business goals.
7. Present Insights to Leadership: Communicate research findings and design recommendations to senior leaders, influencing business and product strategies.
8. Elevate Global Design Standards: Oversee the Prime Design Studio, driving the evolution of Prime’s design library and setting new standards for UX excellence.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in UX research and design, preferably within subscription or membership services.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale, customer-impacting UX projects.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring multidisciplinary UX teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology); Master’s preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative UX research methods.
• Ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Experience working in e-commerce, subscription services, or similar industries.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Passion for creating user-centered designs that balance business goals with customer needs.
