Job Description
Amazon’s Global Risk Management and Claims team is on the lookout for a dynamic Risk Analyst to contribute to the development and management of Amazon’s corporate insurance programs. This role involves supporting program management, conducting contract reviews, and implementing risk management tools for various business initiatives. You’ll also oversee insurance programs for certain Amazon subsidiaries while collaborating with operations, finance, and legal teams to scale global department support.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide risk management consultation to internal stakeholders.
- Evaluate changes to insurance program structures and exposures.
- Support insurance renewals, audits, and forecasting by gathering and reviewing legal and exposure data.
- Manage premium invoice payments and vendor accounts.
- Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation measures.
- Optimize internal processes and leverage the Risk Management Information System (RMIS).
- Develop data-driven metrics and benchmarks to evaluate loss trends and prioritize resources.
- Review contracts for compliance with Amazon’s insurance provisions.
- Offer consultation on risk transfer techniques and contract insurance clauses.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year in property and casualty insurance program management or related fields (e.g., insurance broker, carrier).
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams, drive strategic initiatives, and deliver results in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
- Strong skills in translating complex data into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in property and casualty insurance program management.
- Demonstrated success in insurance or risk management roles.
- Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
- Experience in a publicly traded company managing corporate insurance.
