Job Description
Position Summary:
As an International Status Caller, you’ll handle customs clearance information over the phone, process inbound shipments, and maintain contact with the public. You’ll also identify potential sales leads and strategically engage customers for future business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Obtain broker information for accurate duty and tax assessments.
- Identify and secure potential sales leads from UPS freight customers.
- Promote UPS Brokerage services to prospective clients.
- Perform administrative duties, including processing sales and resolving customer issues.
Requirements
- Previous call experience – Required
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written) – Required
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Bilingual: English (proficient) and French (intermediate)
- Previous sales experience – Preferred
- Typing speed: 40+ words per minute with 90% accuracy
- Strong multitasking and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Job Details
- Employment Type: Part-Time, Permanent
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM (minimum 20 hours/week)
- Location: 900 Hanwell Road, Fredericton, NB, E3B 6A2
- Hourly Wage: To be defined
